A Joyous Celebration of Love: Lively Jewish Wedding at The Quadrangle Club
Music is an essential part of any celebration, and nowhere is that more true than at a wedding. For Jeremy and Rachel, their wedding day was filled with heartwarming moments, cultural traditions, and, of course, plenty of dancing. We had the honor of providing DJ services for their ceremony and reception at the stunning Quadrangle Club, a beautiful venue that perfectly matched their vibrant, joyful celebration. From their emotional Jewish ceremony, to the lively Hora at the reception, we were there every step of the way to ensure the music matched the energy and atmosphere they envisioned for their big day.
The couple's musical preferences were as dynamic as their personalities. For the ceremony, we worked with Jeremy and Rachel to incorporate traditional Jewish music and modern love songs that would reflect the sacred and emotional nature of the moment. The processional featured a beautiful version of "Erev Shel Shoshanim", an iconic Hebrew love song, which set the tone for the intimate and meaningful ceremony.
As Jeremy and Rachel exchanged vows beneath the chuppah, the music complemented the sacred ritual, creating an atmosphere of warmth and devotion. The recessional brought the couple out as newlyweds to the upbeat and celebratory tune of "Siman Tov u'Mazal Tov", a song that brought smiles and cheers from their guests.
After the ceremony, it was time to celebrate—and that’s when the real fun began.
As the reception kicked off, the energy in the room was palpable. After the couple shared their first dance to "The One" by Kodaline, the excitement escalated as Jeremy and Rachel took part in the time-honored tradition of the Hora. This lively Israeli dance was one of the highlights of the evening, with the couple lifted into the air on chairs, while their friends and family formed a circle, clapping and dancing in rhythm.
We worked closely with the couple to ensure the Hora was a moment that would make a lasting impression. The crowd was on fire, and the music matched that energy perfectly, with the classic "Hava Nagila" filling the ballroom, making it impossible for anyone to resist joining the fun.
The Hora set the tone for the rest of the evening, with the energy staying high throughout the night. As the couple transitioned into dancing with their guests, we kept the energy going with a blend of classic hits, contemporary pop, and plenty of college favorites. The dance floor was packed, and there wasn’t a moment when the party slowed down. From "Shout!" by The Isley Brothers to "Don’t Stop Believin’" by Journey, the music kept everyone on their feet.
